Holiday Inn Express Leigh - Sports Village staff caught out lying to guest!!!!!


A guest wanted to book a room at the Holiday Inn Express Leigh - Sports Village. The receptionist and night manager told the guest they had no rooms available. The guest thought it was odd that the car park was virtually empty and yet no rooms were available. Guest phoned customer services who informed him there were plenty of rooms available at the hotel. The video clip is from when the guest went back to find out why staff had lied to him.

What the video doesn't show is that the guest was locked in the car park for about 2 hours because no one would open the security gate to let him out! Customer services tried to contact the hotel but no one answered the phone so they advised the guest to call the police in order to be let out of the car park.

We shouldn't be surprised that staff at Holiday Inn Express Leigh - Sports Village lie to guests; just look at the bottom of my previous post from 2016 and you will see that the company running this hotel lie to guests as a matter of policy. The staff in this video clip were simply following the example set by their employer!!
